By invitation of Hamazkayin Cultural and Educational Association the 'Cadence' Ensemble gave two concerts in Lebanon in December 2008

The 'Cadence' Ensemble was invited by Hamazkayin Cultural and Educational Association to visit Lebanon for a week in November-December 2008. On 30th November the 'Cadence' has performed at the Emile Bustani Auditorium, one of the most prestigious concert venues of Lebanon where concerts & events of the world-known Al Bustan International Music Festival take place. On the 3rd December the ensemble performed a three-piece short program at big and important event dedicated to the Hamazkayin's 80th Anniversary taken place at the Emil Lahoud Cultural Centre. On the 5th December the 'Cadence' gave its final performance at fully packed by young audience Itwin Theatre of Lebanese American University. During its stay the "Cadence'Ensemble's pianist Armen Babakhanian and guitarist Hakob Jaghatspanyan gave a lecture at Haykazyan University of Beirut and master-classes at the Kanachian Music School of Hamazkayin
