Saxophonist Arik Arakelyan has performed greatly at the Musical Olympus Festival's initial concert taken place in St. Petersburg on 1 June 2008

For the first time on the 1st June 2008 the Armenian young saxophonist Arik Arakelyan has performed with a symphony orchestra at the Musical Olympus Festival in St.Petersburg. All festival participants were prize-winners of international music competitions. Arik Arakelyan was chosen as a soloist by the festival artistic director and president Mrs. Irina Nikitina.
