Hakob Jagatspanyan took part in the First Yerevan Baroque Music Festival, June 2005

In the period of 19-22 June 2005 in Gateshead, UK, under the title "Changing Lives" took place the ISPA XIX International Congress . The Cadence Music Centre was represented at the congress by Mr. Nika Babayan, member of the ISPA Board of Directors. The congress took place in the Sage Gateshead, one of the world's most outstanding performing arts venues. Numerous participants expressed great satisfaction with this year congress - it was organized on the highest professional level and what is most important up to Mr. Nika Babayan "...has rather strong human touch".
Nika has also mentioned that he took the final decision to join the congress after getting acquainted at the Tbilisi conference, a week before the ISPA congress in the UK, with one of the Sage Gateshead directors Ms. Lucy Bird: her report on fund-raising technologies and the Sage Gateshead management affairs impressed Nika strongly and he decided to see and get better idea on the Sage phenomenon. By the way, Nika thinks that some Armenian artists have good chances to perform in the Sage within the framces of one of the nearest concert seasons.
