On the 11th October 2010 Mitja Rotovnik was awarded with Movses Khorenatsi Medal by the President of Armenia

Mitja Rotovnik, Director General of the Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana, with assitance and support of the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia and in partnership with the Cadence Music Centre, Armenia, and support of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia, has established 'Armenia Up Close' Festival officially lanched on the 17th February 2010. The festival will be closed in Ljubljana on the 1st December 2010 with the concert of the Cadence Ensemble.
